President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga presented insignia “For peace and friendship among nations” to outgoing Cambodian Ambassador PrakNguon Hong yesterday.

Vietnam and Cambodia jointly held a ceremony on December 26 morning in Duc Co district of Gia Lai to inaugurate their border marker No.30 and the road connecting two checkpoints of the Le Thanh-O Za Dao international border gate.

President Truong Tan Sang met with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni immediately after his arrival in Phnom Penh yesterday to discuss in depth the traditional friendship and comprehensive co-operation between the two nations.

 Vietnam and Cambodia have plenty of rooms to further their ties, President Truong Tan Sang told Rasmei Kampuchea, the largest daily in Khmer language in Cambodia ahead of his visit to the country on December 23-24.
