Ten thousand visitors are expected, as well as 450 tech companies and over 100 media publishers from around the country.
Vietnam Mobile Day has become a major occasion for developers to improve their skills and networks. Last year it attracted over 7,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang.
This year’s event is supported by Google, Facebook and Nielsen.
Topics cover various matters in the tech industry, such as mobile marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), analytic social media, product development, mobile games, and apps optimizing solutions on Android and iOS.
There will also be topic groups on startups.
Topics relating to mobile marketing include advertising campaign optimization, marketing on mobile platforms, and the new trend of mobile native ads.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Binh, CEO of TopDev, the event organizer, said that “preparations are almost completed and the content and the speakers as well as community support programs have also been introduced to promote the rise of the entire startup ecosystem in general and the technology community in particular. I hope that we will be offering more breakout programs for visitors eagerly awaiting Vietnam Mobile Day.”
The organizers will invite startup advisors and mobile technology experts to share their experiences in overseas market development (Go Global) and solutions for failed startups, with lessons available such as how to get apps to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and how to encourage users to pay for the apps, among other things.
Experts have recognized in recent times that startups need not only technical expertise but also the interconnection of community networks that best guarantee their development in different fields.
The annual Vietnam Mobile Day brings together and connects technology companies and develops partnerships and relationships.
Experts from market researcher Nielsen and Microsoft will provide market data on mobile commerce and trends in mobile technology development.
