Investigative agencies are focused on key tasks, including gathering specific evidence from available documentation to substantiate each suspect’s alleged offenses for the purpose of investigation, prosecution, and trial.

The Ministry is also expanding investigations to ensure thorough accountability, with all implicated individuals subject to trial. Additionally, a priority is placed on the recovery of misappropriated assets.

Regarding the pursuit of fugitive suspects, Major General Tuyen confirmed that the Ministry of Public Security has deployed numerous measures, including both domestic and international warrants. They are utilizing extradition, diplomatic channels, and other strategies to apprehend suspects.

Major General Tuyen emphasized a determined stance, with targeted plans for each suspect, enabling precise searches and apprehensions.

Through the media, Major General Tuyen issued a direct message to wanted individuals, including Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, urging them to reflect on their situation and surrender to benefit from leniency.

He also noted that those who refuse to return and attempt to evade justice, like Ms. Nhan, will still face prosecution under the law. However, in doing so, they forfeit the opportunity to legally defend themselves in court.
