A project to develop a fast-charging station for electric cars is one of five projects that won first prize at the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award 2020 awards ceremony in Hanoi on November 10.

The recommendation was made by domestic and foreign experts in the recently published "Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation" report.

 The UNESCO General Conference has recognised the Institute of Mathematics and the Institute of Physics of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology as its Category 2 centres.
