Accordingly, strong operation of a cold air mass is predicted for the Northern region in the second haft of the month. 

The rainy season often occurs in the Central region from the period; however, average seasonal total rainfall is expected to be less than 20 – 40 percent for many years.

Additionally, a tropical cyclone is expected to hit the East Sea in October.

Amid the complicated weather condition, the experts warned high risks of cyclone, hail, thunderstorm and sustained winds for nationwide provinces and cities.

The Central region will continue bracing for peak tides from October 11-14, November 13-11, December 13-16 in row; meanwhile, water levels following days of high tides at Vung Tau Station is expected to exceed 4 meters.

River tides reach flood warning level 3 in HCM City, Mekong Delta

The Southern Regional Hydro-Meteorological Center has announced that river tides in HCM City and the Mekong Delta region reached flood warning level 3 on Monday and Tuesday.
