Stepping into the final of the Moselle Open, the young Tien faced off against British veteran Cameron Norrie, ranked 27th in the world. Even before the match began, Tien had already secured a place in the ATP top 30 – the highest ranking of his career so far.

Despite Norrie’s experience, it was Tien’s youth and resilience that turned the match into an unpredictable showdown.

He started aggressively, taking the first set 6-3.

Norrie rallied in the second set, leveling the match with a 6-3 win.

The decider reached dramatic heights as Tien stormed to a 3-0 lead before Norrie clawed his way back to 6-6, forcing a tense tie-break.

Down 1-5 in the tie-break, it seemed like Tien’s dream might slip away.

But the young star ignited a stunning comeback, winning seven straight points to turn the tide and clinch the set 8-6, securing the first ATP title of his career.

With this victory, Tien became the first American teenager to win an ATP title since Andy Roddick in 2002, and the youngest champion at the Moselle Open since Novak Djokovic in 2006.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Tien said, “I know this isn’t something that just happens every day, so this win truly means a lot.”
