Update news vote of confidence
The National Assembly on Wednesday held a vote of confidence in 44 high-ranking officials elected or approved by the legislative body. Below are the outcomes.
About 4,300 State white-collar employees of Hanoi will be laid off next year, according to a decision by the Ha Noi’s People’s Council. Following the move, the city will have a total of 153,875 white-collar workers.
The National Assembly’s Party committee on December 25 conduct the vote of confidence on its 57 members.
VietNamNet Bridge - The decision to cancel the vote of confidence to the positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or the People’s Council in May 2014 derived from the Politburo’s opinion in a statement issued in late 2013.
The Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the chief of the Department of Planning and Investment received the lowest votes of confidence. The Chair of the People’s Council and the police chief had the highest rates.
