Tran Thi Hien, over 100 years old from Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, walked to the hall and was assisted by volunteers.

Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Hien (68 years old, District 12) was brought by her daughter early in the morning to attend the memorial service. Upon hearing the news of the General Secretary's passing, she and her family set up an altar at home on July 20 to express their respect and gratitude for the esteemed leader. "I want to extend my condolences to Madam Ngo Thi Man and the family," said Mrs. Hien.
Standing quietly in the crowd, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuyet shared that she woke up at 2 AM to travel from Binh Duong to Thong Nhat Hall. Holding a portrait of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and a self-written poem, she couldn't help but feel emotional: "I hold General Secretary Trong in the highest regard. He dedicated his entire life to the people and the country, working until his final days."
Bowing her head in farewell from outside the gate, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Lan said tearfully, "I visited yesterday, but this morning, before going to work early, I wanted to come by again to say goodbye to him one more time."
Little An Nhien (7 years old, District 10) asked her mother to take her to pay respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Her mother shared that after watching documentary footage and hearing stories about the life of the Party's top leader, Nhien learned about his kindness and simplicity.
