My Khe Beach in Danang City’s Ngu Hanh Son District has been covered with waste following torrential rains over recent days.
The rains have damaged around 500 metres of My Khe Beach, leading to severe erosion.
Meanwhile, a huge amount of rubbish was brought ashore after heavy rains. Local environmental workers are focusing on cleaning work.
The workers even had to use rocks to consolidate the area of My An drain.
Many provinces across central Vietnam and the region’s hub of Danang have been submerged due to heavy downpours caused by an enhanced cold spell over the weekend.
The heavy flooding and landslides triggered by torrential rains in central provinces have left at least two people dead and another injured.
The bodies of two women were found in Quang Tri Province Sunday morning after they were swept away by flash floods triggered by prolonged downpours during the weekend.
