According to a representative from The Gioi Di Dong retail chain, data recorded as of 12:00 on March 4 shows that the Galaxy S26 accounted for 6 percent of orders, the Galaxy S26 Plus for 3 percent, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra dominated with 2,611 orders, representing 91 percent of the total.

Sales of the S26 series have increased compared with the previous S25 lineup. Retailers attribute the rise to several newly introduced features this year.

These include improved security capabilities, the Privacy Display feature that helps prevent others from viewing the screen in public spaces, horizon lock video recording for more stable footage, and more advanced AI tools for creative photo editing.

At Minh Tuan Mobile, around 100 pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series had been recorded by the afternoon of March 4, along with thousands of customers expressing interest in the product.

Compared with the same period last year when the Galaxy S25 was launched, this represents an increase of nearly 20 percent.

Among the versions, the Galaxy S26 Ultra clearly leads with about 75 percent of total orders. Retailers say its improvements in privacy protection, particularly the active anti-peeping display feature, are highly valued as users increasingly prioritize personal privacy.

In terms of color preferences, the purple version leads with around 50 percent of orders, suggesting that bold and distinctive designs continue to attract consumers.

Customers pre-ordering the Galaxy S26 series at Minh Tuan Mobile are also offered promotional packages worth up to VND9 million (US$360), including shopping vouchers worth up to VND6 million (US$240), gifts from the retailer valued at up to VND3 million (US$120), and zero-percent installment payment options.

At Di Dong Viet, more than 600 customers have placed deposits for the Galaxy S26 series. The Galaxy S26 Ultra again attracts the most attention, accounting for about 65 percent of deposits.

Within the Ultra version, the 256GB model represents around 45 percent of orders while the 512GB version accounts for about 50 percent.

Compared with the Galaxy S25 series during the same launch period, orders for the S26 lineup have increased by roughly 20 percent.

In addition to price considerations and exclusive retail promotions, the number of customers using trade-in programs to upgrade from older Galaxy S models has also risen within the system.

CellphoneS reported more than 3,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S26 series during the early sales period.

This figure represents growth of more than 40 percent compared with the previous generation, highlighting the strong appeal of Samsung’s latest flagship lineup in its first days on the market.

Notably, around 90 percent of customers at this retailer chose the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Within that group, the 512GB storage version alone accounts for about 60 percent of Ultra orders, while the Cobalt purple color leads with 30 percent of total purchases.

According to Phan Tran Thanh, director of the phone category at FPT Shop, demand for the Galaxy S26 series within the retail chain has been encouraging despite the higher price compared with previous generations.

The Ultra version continues to dominate sales, particularly the purple color variant.

Compared with previous Samsung models, overall demand remains stable, especially in the premium segment.
