iPhone 17 Air debuts with titanium frame and ultra-thin design, priced from USD 1,099.
Apple’s much-anticipated "Awe Dropping" event will take place at midnight on September 10 (Vietnam time), unveiling the full iPhone 17 lineup. This could be one of Apple’s most exciting presentations in years, featuring not only the debut of the all-new iPhone 17 Air but also the possibility that standard models will receive long-awaited hardware upgrades.
The U.S. tech giant is expected to unveil four new smartphones: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

According to leaks, the iPhone 17 will sport a larger rear camera module housing two lenses, a flash, and a microphone. The display is expected to increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, matching the Pro model. Apple is also rumored to introduce a 120Hz refresh rate panel, although it’s unclear if it will be ProMotion (1–120Hz).
The device will be powered by the A19 chip, manufactured using TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process, and come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of base storage.
The rear cameras will include 48MP and 12MP sensors, while the front camera will receive a boost to 24MP. It features a 3,692mAh battery and supports 25W Qi2.2 wireless fast charging. The starting price is expected to remain at USD 799.

The iPhone 17 Air has captured attention with its slim profile - just 5.5mm at its thinnest point - and a large 6.6-inch display. It is expected to feature the A19 Pro chip, though with one GPU core disabled, alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of starting storage.
This may be the only new iPhone model to feature a titanium frame, aiming for lighter weight and improved durability compared to the aluminum used in the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro.
Another major difference is its camera configuration: only a single 48MP sensor on the back. The front camera matches the others at 24MP.
Battery capacity ranges from 3,036 to 3,148mAh depending on the SIM or eSIM variant, using new battery technology to offset the lower capacity. The Air is also rumored to be the first to use Apple’s in-house C1 modem instead of Qualcomm’s.
Its price is expected to start at USD 1,099 - USD 300 more than the standard iPhone 17.
iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are set to undergo the most dramatic design changes, featuring a horizontal camera bar across the back. Both models will add a 48MP telephoto lens, bringing the total to three rear cameras. Optical zoom capabilities may vary by version, ranging from 3.5x to 8x.
The display sizes are 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max, both supporting ProMotion 1–120Hz. They will use the A19 Pro chip with 12GB of RAM and introduce vapor chamber cooling - a first for iPhones - to support sustained AI performance.
Battery life is significantly improved: the iPhone 17 Pro may have a 4,252mAh battery (eSIM variant), while the Pro Max is expected to break records with a 5,088mAh battery - the first iPhone to surpass the 5,000mAh mark. Both models may support 35W wired charging and 15W Qi2.2 wireless charging.
Starting prices for the iPhone 17 Pro are projected at USD 1,099 with base storage of 256GB, representing a USD 100 increase from the previous generation.
With the arrival of the iPhone 17 Air and the robust upgrades to the Pro models, this year's lineup is expected to bring a clear departure from the incremental changes of recent years.
