The singers will perform 30 songs in the bolero style composed by popular musicians such as Huynh Anh, Thai Thinh and Vu Thanh.

“I moved to France in 1988, but my love for music is still here,” said My after her first show in HCM City, 27 years after moving away from the city. The show, Trở Về Mái Nhà Xưa (Returning Home) attracted 2,000 people.

For this concert, the 64-year-old will sing songs by Diep Minh Tuyen and Hoang Thi Tho that shot her to fame in the 1970s and 80s in the city.

My released three albums, produced by Phuong Nam Film, featuring songs by late talented musician Pham Duy in Vietnam in 2009.

The concert, Giọng Ca Vàng Bolero, will take place at 8pm on July 20 at the nightclub We at 172H Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street in District 3.
