Standing Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, on behalf of the Politburo, has signed a conclusion about the development of Vietnam's materials industry.

Vietnam aims to master selected deep-processing technologies for rare earths, semiconductor materials and battery materials by 2030, while targeting a 50% localization rate for certain strategic materials under a new direction set by the Politburo.

General Secretary and President To Lam has signed Politburo Decision No. 178 on the restructuring of the Central Steering Committee for the Development of Vietnamese Culture.

After reviewing a proposal submitted by the Quang Ninh Party Committee, the Politburo agreed in principle to the establishment of the centrally-governed city of Quang Ninh.
