 VietNamNet Bridge - After discovering a 30kg seal in his fishing nets, about 3 km from Da Nang’s shore, a fisherman asked the local authorities for VND3 million ($150) of compensation for the torn net and for bringing the animal to shore.

Catching fish 5 km from the shore of the central city of Da Nang this morning, a fisherman discovered a seal caught in the net. He handed over the animal to the authorities to release it back to the ocean.

On the morning of April15, people went to the People’s Committee of Ward 9 in Tuy Hoa city,  Phu Yen province for document authentication, but they were surprised to see the announcement on the office gate "The office is closed for a meeting."
