Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on October 1 visited Inter-Level School No.14 named after President Ho Chi Minh in the Mongolian capital city of Ulaanbaatar, as part of his ongoing state visit to Mongolia.
During his visit to Ulan Bator, General Secretary and President To Lam, alongside Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, have declared a new era in diplomatic ties by establishing a Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Mongolia.
The Vietnamese Cultural Day will run until October 2, aiming to promote mutual understanding as well as sound friendship and cooperation between the two peoples.
At the event, the two sides spoke highly of the cooperation and exchanges between the two parliaments which have developed into a more substantial fashion both bilaterally and multilaterally.
Party Chief and President To Lam and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements between the two countries' ministries, sectors and agencies following their talks in Ulaanbaatar on September 30.
General Secretary and President To Lam, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, touched down at Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulan Bator, commencing a state visit to Mongolia at the invitation of President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Khayangaa Bolorchuluun signed a memorandum of understanding on sustainable rice trading in Hanoi on November 1.
