Mark Sebowski from the US is enjoying his trip to Vietnam, where he has visited Hanoi, HCM City, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Hoi An in Quang Nam province and Ha Long in Quang Ninh province.

On his YouTube channel, the western traveler has posted videos showing his experiences in Vietnam and recommended methods to allow both travel with the lowest possible costs and have the most possible attractive experiences.

He believes that travelers have different expectations on their tours, but they need to understand what they want and what makes them happy.

He said Vietnam is a ‘food paradise’, and is a good choice for people who want to discover delicious food with reasonable costs. 

However, he believes that travelers should have tips to optimize their dining experiences. And he is willing to share his tips, which he uses regularly when he visits to a locality and wants to discover local food.

Mark has found that the restaurants where many western travelers visit with menus written in English set higher prices than average, but the food fits the taste of most international diners.

Meanwhile, restaurants full of local people always bring interesting experiences to travelers who seek differences in flavor oand prices.

The other secret that Mark wants to share with travelers is choosing the time to come to restaurants to order the best food and receive the best services.

It is best to come during peak hours, though diners may have to wait for a long time. In Vietnam, lunches are served from 11 am to 1 pm, and diners from 6 pm to 8 pm.

If people come later than suggested, some restaurants may run out of the best dishes, but if they come too early, restaurants may be not ready to serve diners in the best way. 

The third tip is that travelers should try many local dishes because each locality in Vietnam has its specialties.

For example, Mark suggested eating bun cha (vermicelli and grilled chopped meat) in Hanoi and com tam (broken rice) in HCM City. And it would be better to use spices and seasoning like locals to best enjoy the food. 

The American man also advised travelers not to hesitate to visit restaurants where there are only menus in the Vietnamese language.
