The Ministry of Health has realized a warning about a sharp increase in the number of dengue infections across the country.
HCM City has witnessed a sharp rise in dengue fever and hand, foot and mouth disease patients, according to the municipal Department of Health.
Dengue fever in Vietnam is now at a peak with a sharp increase in deaths.
It is forecast that the dengue fever will be more complicated with increase number of cases and deaths at the peak of the annual epidemic season in November and December.
According to the Ministry of Health, since the beginning of the year, the country has recorded nearly 260,000 cases of dengue fever and 102 deaths are attributed to dengue.
