According to the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board, DT770B will begin at its intersection with DT763 in Xuan Bac Commune and end at National Highway 51 in Phuoc Thai Commune.

The route will stretch approximately 42 km through nine communes and wards, including Xuan Bac, Gia Kiem, Dau Giay, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Binh Loc and Xuan Lap. Total investment is estimated at more than US$305 million.

The first phase includes six traffic lanes, 14 bridges, six interchanges, as well as drainage, lighting, landscaping and traffic safety facilities.

The project will require the acquisition of approximately 271 ha of land, with about 354 households to be resettled.

The DT769 upgrade and expansion project will cover about 29 km, directly connecting Gate No. 2 of Long Thanh International Airport with National Highway 1 and National Highway 51. The road will be built to Class II highway standards with a design speed of 80 km/h. Total investment is estimated at more than US$107 million.

Meanwhile, DT773 will extend approximately 39 km, linking National Highway 1 with Huong Lo 10 and Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4. The project will pass through six communes and wards and will be built with six to eight lanes. Total investment, including land clearance costs, is estimated at about US$164 million.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Nguyen Tuan Anh, vice chairman of the Dong Nai City People's Committee, described DT770B as a strategic transport corridor connecting the northern and eastern parts of the city with National Highway 51, expressways, industrial parks, logistics centers and Long Thanh International Airport.

He said the route would create a new freight corridor that would ease congestion on existing roads, shorten cargo transport times, reduce logistics costs and improve connectivity between industrial parks, seaports and the airport.

According to city authorities, the project will not only establish a strategic transport axis but also create new opportunities for urban, industrial and service development along the corridor, improve land use efficiency, generate employment and raise local living standards.

Together with DT769, DT773, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 and the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, DT770B is expected to help complete the regional transport network while supporting the development of high-tech industry, logistics and aviation services.

Nguyen Tuan Anh called on investors, consultants and contractors to mobilize sufficient manpower and equipment, organize construction efficiently and ensure project quality, workplace safety, environmental protection and on-schedule completion.

He also urged relevant departments and local authorities to promptly resolve issues related to land clearance and construction material supplies to ensure the projects proceed smoothly.
