The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department working alongside police forces in Binh Duong province have broken up a transnational drug trafficking ring from Cambodia to Vietnam, seizing more than 64kg of drugs of various kinds.
Up to 288 kilos of cocaine have been found drifting onto a beach in Binh Son District in the central province of Quang Ngai.
Ho Chi Minh City Police are coordinating with Department C04 and local police to continue to expand the investigation into the big drug trafficking and arrest leaders of the ring.
