At around 12:00, the unit received an urgent request from the command center regarding a foreign tourist injured while hiking and in need of immediate assistance. A rescue team, including a command vehicle, a fire engine, and nine officers, was dispatched to the scene.
Due to steep and rugged terrain, vehicles were unable to access the area. Rescue personnel had to carry equipment and proceed on foot through the forest to locate the victim.
After traversing more than 2km of difficult mountain paths, the team reached the injured tourist. She had suffered a broken leg after a fall, was unable to move, and was in a state of panic.

Rescuers provided on-site first aid and reassured the victim before beginning the descent. The evacuation proved challenging given the complex terrain.
At approximately 13:50, the woman was safely transported to the foot of the mountain using a specialized stretcher. She was then handed over to medical personnel and taken to Ba Ria Hospital for treatment.
Authorities identified the victim as Z.L., a Chinese national. She had been hiking with a group of eight people, including five men and three women, at the time of the incident.
The case adds to a series of recent incidents involving hikers encountering difficulties in mountainous areas, underscoring the importance of preparation and awareness when exploring unfamiliar terrain.
