The BlackPink girls praised Vietnamese cuisine as "very delicious". Rosé especially loved Vietnamese pho and said that she "had sniffed to the last drop".

According to sources, during their stay in Vietnam, BlackPink took meals at the Backstage restaurant, located inside the Capella Hanoi hotel. This restaurant served two famous Vietnamese dishes, pho and banh mi.

The pho at the restaurant is made according to the recipe of Anh Tuyet - one of the famous culinary artisans who hosted the late chef Anthony Bourdain and cooked a banquet at the APEC Summit 2017. 

The restaurant serves three pho dishes, beef noodle, chicken noodle and vegetarian noodle. One bowl of pho costs 280,000 VND.

The restaurant also serves banh mi, priced at 260,000 VND a baguette, with filling of grilled pork shoulder, chicken liver pate, pork ears, sambal chili sauce, pickles, cucumber, coriander and crispy pork ears.
