By investing hundreds of billions of dong to install rooftop solar systems, numerous enterprises in Hai Phong have secured clean energy sources to "green" their manufacturing while significantly reducing monthly electricity bills.

Rooftop solar is gaining momentum across northern Vietnam, with more than 13,000 customers installing systems as several provinces roll out financial support.

A company in Quang Ninh has cut its monthly electricity bill by VND5-6 billion by investing roughly VND150 billion to install 20 MW of rooftop solar power, The rooftop solar trend is expanding rapidly, from industrial zones to private households.

Solar power has become a booming trend as residents rush to invest in installations. In Northern Vietnam alone, over 10,000 rooftops are now covered with solar panels.
