In celebration of International Francophonie Day (March 20), a music program titled “Music Night with Chaton” will be held at the French cultural center L’Espace in Hanoi on March 23.

 A multimedia installation and live performance show called “Interactive Sound Installations“ by the duo Vienna-based artists Cao Thanh Lan (Vietnam) and Gregor Siedl (Austria) will be held at Heritage Space in Hanoi on March 1, starting at 8 p.m.

On the 8th day of the first lunar month every year, locals in Thi Cam village (Xuan Phuong ward, Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem district) join together at the village’s communal house to celebrate their traditional rice cooking contest.

 Stunning sakuras will be the highlight of the 2019 Japan Cherry Blossom Festival, which will come to Ly Thai To Park beside Hoan Kiem Lake in the heart of Hanoi from March 29-31.

 German band MAM will perform at Viet Nam Youth Theatre tonight (February 21) to kick off the New Music series in Hanoi, which includes concerts, workshops and artist residencies.
