The United Nations Day of Vesak 2025 will feature several landmark events, including the inaugural exhibition of 87 national Buddhist treasures and a grand Buddhist flag-raising ceremony with a 500m² flag.

The organizing committee of the United Nations Day of Vesak 2025 has announced the postponement of the veneration and enshrinement of the sacred heart relic of Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc on May 3.
