Danh sách đề cử Quả cầu vàng 2020, giải thưởng quan trọng nhất chỉ sau Oscar vừa được công bố. Không bất ngờ khi "Joker" - bộ phim giành giải cao nhất tại LHP Venice vừa qua tiếp tục được đề cử ở hạng mục Phim chính kịch hay nhất tại Quả cầu vàng 2020. Bên cạnh đó, bộ phim này còn mang về đề cử Nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc (Phim điện ảnh chính kịch) cho Joaquin Phoenix trong vai Joker; Đạo diễn xuất sắc cho đạo diễn Todd Phillips và Nhạc nền xuất sắc.
Điện ảnh Hàn Quốc có quyền tự hào khi bộ phim “Parasite” (Ký sinh trùng) sau khi thắng Cành cọ vàng tại LHP Cannes 2019 tiếp tục giành đề cử Quả cầu vàng 2020 cho Phim nói tiếng nước ngoài xuất sắc, Đạo diễn xuất sắc (Bong Joon Ho) và Kịch bản xuất sắc (cho Bong Joon Ho và Han Jin Won).

Năm nay, bộ phim giành nhiều đề cử Quả cầu vàng nhất với 6 đề cử là "Marriage Story". "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" và "The Irishman" cùng nhận 5 đề cử.
Lễ trao giải Quả cầu vàng 2020 sẽ do Ricky Gervais làm xị, diễn ra ngày 5/1 tới.
