2017 Golden Joystick Awards đã khép lại, và giờ là lúc nhìn lại những giải thưởng đã được trao tặng. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild có được thắng lợi lớn nhất, với bốn giải thưởng, trong đó đáng chú ý là “Tựa Game Của Năm”.

Tuy nhiên, những tựa game PC khác cũng được chung vui, bao gồm World of Tanks, Friday the 13th, Overwatch và một bất ngờ rất lớn dành cho PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

“Tôi sẽ không ở đây nếu không có fan hâm mộ”, Meier nói tại buổi lễ lần thứ 35 của Golden Joystick Awards, sự kiện trao giải trong ngành công nghiệp sản xuất game lâu đời thứ nhì trên thế giới. “Dù bạn có chơi Pirates!, Railroad Tycoon hay Civilization thì tất cả các fan hâm mộ trên toàn cầu đều đã cho tôi có được công việc tuyệt vời nhất thế giới và tôi muốn cám ơn tất cả.”
