About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven AI Manager to lead and manage our AI Box team, which consists of several sub-teams: Continuous Improvement (Engineering), System/Bulk Execution, QCO, and Capacity. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these teams, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and driving the development and implementation of AI solutions for production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the AI Box team, providing direction, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Oversee all activities of each sub-team within AI Box, ensuring they meet their KPIs and contribute to overall goals.
- Collaborate with the AI Box Manager to discuss future plans, timelines, issues, and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement training programs for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Analyze data and present findings to the AI Box Manager to support informed decision-making.
- Manage the Continuous Improvement (Engineering) team, ensuring they achieve targets and goals within set timelines.
- Drive and review the development and implementation of machine automation, tools, attachments, and templates to improve production efficiency, utilization, and cost savings.
- Train and develop the Engineering team's skills while managing their workload and driving results.
- Collaborate with the Kaizen team on the development of tools, attachments, templates, and automation solutions.
- Communicate approved automation solutions to relevant departments and ensure their effective implementation.
- Manage the System and Bulk Execution team, ensuring they meet deadlines and maintain accurate and up-to-date operations.
- Oversee the team's performance to ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Train and develop the skills of the System & Bulk Execution team members.
- Collaborate with AI Box Team Leaders to achieve common goals, timelines, and KPIs.
- Communicate any internal or external issues, delays, or problems to the AI Box Supervisor and work towards resolving them.
