Job Description

As a Finance and Investment Analyst for the BOD, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the board with crucial investment insights, growth scenario analysis, and engaging with funds, investors, and banks. Your primary focus will be on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, strategizing for growth, and managing relationships with financial stakeholders.

1. Investment Analysis:

- Research and analyze potential investment opportunities, including emerging markets and innovative ventures.

- Prepare detailed investment reports, including risk assessments, return projections, and growth potential.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, recommending adjustments as needed.

2. Growth Scenario Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of various growth scenarios and their financial implications.

- Develop financial models to predict future growth and profitability under different market conditions.

- Provide strategic recommendations to the board based on growth scenario analyses

3. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Support BOD in maintaining relationships with funds & investors.

- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential investors and financial institutions.

- Support BOD in investment negotiation on deals and financing arrangements.

4. Market Research:

- Conduct market research to identify new investment opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and economic conditions.

- Provide insights and forecasts to inform investment strategies and growth plans.

5. Support in Decision Making:

- Gather and maintain financial data from various sources & utilize financial data to support investment decisions and growth strategies.

- Provide analytical support during board meetings and strategic planning sessions.

- Assist in developing financial models and business cases to support decision-making and growth initiatives.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies related to investments and stakeholder engagements.

- Identify and evaluate financial risks associated with investments and provide recommendations for mitigation.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is an advantage.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in investment analysis, fund management, or a related position. Experience working in the education field is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and statistical analysis, with a focus on investment and growth scenarios.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in investment analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
