Job Description

  • Team Leadership:

    • Provide effective leadership to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    • Conduct regular team meetings, set objectives, and monitor progress towards goals.

    • Foster professional development and skill enhancement within the team.

  • Software Deployment:

    • Guide clients through the planning, execution, and adoption of software solutions to enhance their business operations.

  • Helpdesk Support:

    • Manage the school helpdesk, providing timely and effective support to end-users.

    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating when necessary.

    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base to facilitate efficient issue resolution.

  • Infrastructure and Network Management:

    • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of hardware and software systems.

    • Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure a reliable and secure IT environment.

    • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure necessary IT equipment and services.

  • Training and Documentation:

    • Develop and conduct training programs for end-users on relevant IT tools and systems.

    • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Budget Management:

    • Contribute to the development of the IT budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

    • Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an IT environment, preferably in an educational setting.

  • Strong knowledge of school information systems and data management best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with helpdesk support processes and tools.

  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure and networks.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, or relevant vendor certifications are a plus.
