Areas of Responsibility

· Liase with internal staff, providing updates on tasks and raising any issues as they arise (virtually via Microsoft Teams)

· Design of electrical items to relevant Australian standards

· Complete the engineering & design for assigned projects

· Participate in design philosophy & Safety in Design Risk Assessments for assigned projects

· Preparation of drawings packages including single line diagrams (SLD), schematics, general arrangements (GA), label & equipment lists

· Complete basic electrical equipment selection and sizing

· Issue for review, issue for approval & issue for construction drawing revisions

· Generating bill of materials with Autocad

· Complete ‘red line’ as built markups once equipment is manufactured

· Document control including drawing revision management and filing

· Develop efficient systems, processes and that result in high-quality products.

Education and Experience

Essential:

Graduated from university in electrification (University of Mining and Geology, University of technology,University of Technology and Education  ...)
Proficient in Autocad LT or Autocad Specialised Toolsets (Electrical)

 Capacity to work independently and as a member of work team

Ability to communicate fluently in English

Desirable:

 2+ years in a similar role in the mining/tunnelling electrical manufacturing industry

 A high level of numeracy skills, attention to detail and superior analysis ability.
