Job Description

YOUR JOB:

  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, serve as the key point of contact, communicate updates and requirements, manage special requests, and conduct in-country visits and audits.
  • Business Development: Explore potential business opportunities, represent the company at summits and trade events, and propose improvements and cost-saving measures to clients.
  • Account Development: Oversee the Product Development Coordinator and OEM CS Team, and collaborate with departments to develop new and existing collections, ensuring smooth transition from development to mass production.
  • Production Planning and Costing: Collaborate with Costing and Finance teams to set final prices, negotiate with clients, address special sourcing requirements, and communicate engineering change requests (ECRs) internally.
  • Standard Updates and Improvement Proposals: Continuously update product standards with clients, share improvement proposals from internal teams, and ensure clear communication of updates or issues.
  • Order Management: Lead OEM Customer Service team, handle order changes with Planning, provide capacity updates, and manage the efficient processing of orders and payments.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate forecasts for material sourcing and production plans, analyze data for board presentations, and ensure timely submission of all required reports for internal and external use.
  • Issue Resolution and Quality Management: Address potential delays, manage claims and quality issues, coordinate with internal teams to resolve problems, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Event and Audit Coordination: Represent the company at industry events, coordinate production walk-throughs or OCAs with QC, Production, and Technical teams, and ensure all necessary preparations are in place.

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a project management or lead customer service role in the furniture industry
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages considered a strong asset.
  • Strong leadership skills required to manage a team and delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure that all deadlines and client expectations are met with regards to product development or order management.
  • A strong passion for and knowledge of furniture, design, and interior design, with a keen eye for aesthetic details.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the clients needs and a proactive attitude to resolving issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers positively and understand their needs.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
