Summary
Our Partner seeks an accomplished QA/QC Director with experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry. This position is responsible for strategic planning, developing and managing Labs, quality control and quality management systems to meet quality standards and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Quality department’s strategy to ensure it meets the company business requirements and customer standards.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the Quality department and ensure compliance to regulatory and internal standards.
- Work with the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Excellence function to create, implement, evaluate and adjust company’s Quality standards, policies and procedures relating to processes and products.
- Maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
- Responsible for managing 04 lab rooms, quality control online systems and ensuring the overall performance of the whole Quality function and personnel and to ensure that Quality targets are met.
- Ensure proper interface of Quality function to Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing (e.g. involved in new product development).
- Ensure Quality Control team and employees use quality tools to improve the company’s accuracy, efficiency and profitability.
- Provide direction and resolutions to Quality Control managers on quality issues on a regular basis.
- Ensure appropriate investigation of discrepancies, errors, complaints, failures or adverse events requiring documented review and action.
- Recruit personnel and oversee development and maintenance of staff competencies in required areas.
- Responsible for continuous improvement in the Quality Department including knowledge, capabilities and efficiencies.
