BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:

• Manage Incoming & Outgoing Quality Control (IQC/OQC) including testing operation.
• Manage a group of quality engineers and operators.
• Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
• Directs subordinates on day-to-day basis to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Understands and follows guidance to ensure work is performed efficiently. Can make decisions within normal operating conditions.
• Implement 3D models, blueprints, quality engineering documentation for new or revised products.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Prototyping Centre to transfer the required quality process and product customized application specific products.
• Translate quality engineering documents into Vietnamese as required supporting Quality (Works instruction, Setup Sheets, Tool Sheets, Operator inspection sheets).
• Recommend and implement improvements to quality processes, methods, and controls.
• Establish quality standard operating procedures for current or newly improved processes.
• Create, modify testing programs and deploy FAI for new products, processes.
• Participate in Lean, Six-sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and yield enhancement activities.
• Follow, monitor quality planning and shipping.
• Develop skill-set training program of quality operators.

1. Quality Engineering Activities

Perform key aspects of manufacturing processes. Improve overall processes and related issues including process development, creating process documentation, product assembly and production processing, problem solving, and project management.

Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction such as quality improvement, and improved efficiencies and cycle time whole production processes.

Planning from prototype to pilot production to production.

2. New products /process development

Transfer products from prototype to manufacturing through the documented process.

Create, develop QC Flow diagram, Control plan, FMEA, inspection sheets for new products from prototype and low level of production to mass production.

Follow, report on projects, and make recommendations to management.

3. Quality Control

Create, modify, and control testing programs.

Implement FAI for new products, processes.

Support, follow calibration program of testing equipment.

Carry out training inspectors.

Verify final inspection report, document, and upload inspection report into MES.

4. Business operations

Follow, support production planning and shipping included closing WO online.

Adhere to all department processes. Support reviews and audits of all SOPs and company practices for continuous improvement and cycle time reduction opportunities.

Ensure all records, reports, and metrics are accurate and on-time.

Understand and execute to relevant Company Technology Control Plans, Export Compliance requirements, IP, IT and Quality procedures.

• University with bachelor’s degree as Mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years in managing IQC or OQC.
• Handle special assignments promptly and professionally.
• Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency
• Keep machine in good condition, Clean and safe.
• Follow maintenance schedule and daily checklist.
• Utilize designed tools and/or propose a new design to get higher efficiency.
• Strictly follow the quality system
• Proceed project as assigned.
• Report to relative engineers and managers about abnormal issues happened in the workshop.
• Control everything in timeframe.
