Job Summary

- Perform work related to process, chemical management, testing methods within engineering functional the Adidas Development division.

- Responsible for participating in the sample development process in create bonding processes, materials, compounds validation.

Responsibilities

- Bonding process: to work enclose & make accurate judgments about the material elements on the product giving the shortest and most suitable bonding process possible while still ensuring the requirements. Applying environmentally friendly/recycling/Bio content chemicals, minimizing the harmful chemicals brought, the factors affecting the greenhouse effect, improve the working environment.

- Sample bonding quality improvement: Emphasis on rigorous & scientific inspection of processes and conditions during sample making to make sure meet physical lab testing requirement with all samples.

- Re-solve product issues in development, commercialization. Assist in presenting concepts and solutions at the functional level. Support knowledge transfer outside of functional area as needed.

- Calculate chemical consumption to matching with actual, VOC requirement, update data on chemical BOM system each style. Reduce chemical waste in development & production process.

- Make weekly, monthly, project & monitoring reports for tracking & sharing.

- Perform other tasks as required by the leader, manager (if any).

l  Experience:

-          Minimum 5 years’ working in manufacturing company with at least 3 years’ working as Chemical Engineering in footwear.

l  Skills:

-          Great in teamwork

-          Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively and be flexible

-          English communication skills

-          Ability to problem solve effectively

-          Use IT tools which support for the job very well

l  Knowledge:

-          Footwear manufacturing & process technology.

-          Footwear chemical, bonding processes and techniques

-          Footwear materials such as the characteristics, components, advantages and limitations of a wide range of materials used in footwear production.

-          Understand and use technical documentation in the overall technical process.
