Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for managing Information Technology projects comprising multiple and interdependent components, typically in a complex, multi-platform technical environment. The job holder will manage and esnure successful monitoring, documentation, reporting, integration and implementation of assigned Information Technology projects.
Key Accountabilities (1)
Project Management and Implementation
- Manage assigned IT projects with detailed plans and schedules to deliver quality outcomes.
- Define, source, estimate and allocate required project resources and budgets.
- Manage and report on project budgets, analyse budget variances and changes in scope associated with IT projects.
- Conduct regular assessment on project status for timely reporting to sponsors, stakeholders / governance committees.
- Manage daily tasks and evaluate to ensure overall quality of project delivery before handing over to customer.
- Control and manage the issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope associated with other IT projects and project teams.
- Establish mitigation and resolution plans and escalate promptly for decision-making.
- Track and maintain updated records of project budgets / schedules / scope and resources.
- Prepare business case for IT investment projects for bank (where required).
- Jointly evaluate the selection of IT solutions and vendors (where required).
- Develop and manage vendor contracts / agreements associated with projects under management.

- Study new technologies and industry trends, acquire banking domain knowledge
- Communicate, share and train project team members to improve IT project management and change management skills.
- Contribute to improve the IT project management process and guidelines.
