The principal duty is to organize and monitor stock levels to maximize efficiency by monitoring and coordinating activities related to demand of finished goods and inventory at Marico distribution centers, to ensure that all business operations have the right stock at the right time to achieve their objectives.
1. Translate forecast into reliable demand plan, manage stocks based on realistic sales performance
Manage demand plan by total single/bundle SKUs, collaboration with network team to deliver the right product at the right time
Coordinate with supply planning team to communicate supply risks POOS to stakeholders, and find solutions to mitigate.
Improve outstanding service level
2. Allocate stock by channel to avoid channel conflicts
Review sales pattern by MT/GT/Ecom and allocate stock availability by channel to ensure fair stock share to all channels.
Work in daily operations with CS to allocate stock if sales pattern changes
3. Manage adhoc requests
Coordinate with Sales/Trade Marketing & Supply planning to serve adhoc orders
Follow transition plan (regardless of changing product barcode or not) by weekly demand sensing (review with stakeholders weekly to ensure the plan is on track)
Follow leadtime with factory to ensure the stocks are available in line with promised timeline
4. Manage FSNE
Highlight slow-moving/ageing stocks to cross-function
Coordinate to find solutions to clear FSNE stocks, or write-off
5. Improve inventory level
Work closely with supply planning team to ensure inventory level is within healthy range without causing negative impact to Sales
Ensure stocks are available against forecast by Region (South/North)
Job Requirement
At least 2-5 years of Inventory/Supply Planning experience in the FMCG.
University degree in Economics/Accounting/Logistics.
Have good consumer knowledge of FMCG industry.
Understand the Demand & Supply planning process (forecast, supply planning, stock management)
Agile with fluctuation/change, good in problem solving and decision making
Good communication in English and Vietnamese
Good in working in group, independent working ability, good in analysis thinking.
