- Collecting data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand
- Analyzing sales, stock, and other data statistics
- Reviewing historical sales trends
- Modeling the data to forecast future demand
- Striving to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Gathering updates on all stakeholders that can affect demand
- Developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
- Interacting with customers to understand demand forecast drivers
- Providing input to the BOM in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
- Refining systems and methods to improve forecasts in order to better anticipate customer needs
- Processing Purchase Orders/Sale Orders, Customer inquiries.
- Maximize On Time Delivery (OTD) by coordinating with materials and manufacturing groups to provide customers with the best possible delivery dates.
- Monitor customer daily shipment requirements and prepare Out Bound Deliveries (OBD’s) in SAP system.
- Work through part shortages list and communicate late deliveries to customers via email, phone and or customer portal as needed by customer.
- Provide general customer service including order status, tracking # requests, etc.
- Work with production planner on customer demand.
- Work with quality and management team to issue customer RMAs.
- Ensure that all customer complaints are addressed and communicated to team members.
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Support other supply chain activities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
