I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Financial Analysis & Planning:
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support sourcing strategies and decisions.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models for sourcing activities.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a strategic partner to the Sourcing team, offering financial guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Facilitate informed decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial information.
Cost Management:
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the sourcing process.
- Analyze cost structures and negotiate with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
- Track and report on key financial metrics related to sourcing activities.
Risk Management:
- Assess financial risks associated with sourcing activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures in all sourcing transactions.
- Conduct financial due diligence on new vendors and sourcing partners.
Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline and enhance financial processes related to sourcing.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting for the sourcing function.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial controls and governance.
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Communicate financial performance and insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
