The Human Resource Deputy Director will assist the HR Director in leading and directing the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including partnering with other BU Heads to implement people strategies, developing the talent acquisition plan, and enforcing company policies and practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
_ Provide subject matter expertise to leadership team on building organizational capability through strategic planning and support for manpower planning, structure fulfillment, talent retention, performance management and culture building
_ Act as an advisor to business leaders on issues relating to policy interpretation and employee relations
_ Support the resolution of complex people and employee relations issues, escalated through HR Operations within agreed governance
_ Provide guidance to managers and associates for HR related concerns including lower risk associate relations and the performance management process, development of business objectives and individual development plans
_ Partner with Total Rewards to communicate and implement programs related to Compensation & Benefits to ensure compliance and to meet the needs of the brand/business unit
_ Drive the development and implementation of solutions to employee relations issues
_ Promote and establish positive employee relations and promote a high level of employee morale
_ Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
_ Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
_ Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs
_ Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
_ Nurture a positive working environment
