1. Planning:
- Planning budgets to build new labs as well as annual budgets for all labs’ operation in current campuses.
- Planning, finding the external suppliers, making reports, proposing for approvals of the procurements of lab equipment, teaching resources, etc.
- Guiding and training lab technicians about proper usage of lab equipment and facilities,
- Supporting Head and teachers of Science in establishing lab procedures.
2. Organizing and managing laboratory equipment and facilities:
- Supervising and monitoring the usage and storage of flammable, toxic, or dangerous materials and objects; guiding and informing lab users about those materials; updating policies on safety in the labs; explaining safety procedures and requirements; ensuring that safety and emergency procedures are strictly adhered.
- Preparing and organizing research labs for all VAS campuses; training all lab technicians about how to administer a practical exam in the labs.
- Making timely reports on lab equipment’s and facilities’ management in accordance with the school’s regulations.
- Carrying other responsibilities as requested.
