1. Litigation involvement (about 40% workload - crucial):

• Assist in the preparation of documents for court cases/ arbitrations/ reconciliation;
• Attend to the meetings, hearings and other legal proceedings in accordance with the laws
• Liaise with the competent authorities or lawfirm to carry out the required work
• Research and draft legal advice; preparing and writing legal documents or cases
• Prepare, submit and follow up with the submission of application dossiers, legal documents as assigned
• Evaluate proposals, action plans and other situations that may have legal impact and determine pertinent course of action as required
• Corporate with law firms to follow up and complete in target task

2. Contract review (about 30% workload)

• Draft, review agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
• Counsel the management and staff in all legal questions, review legal documents and assistance in contract negotiations
• Do research on trade law, Singapore contract law for the purpose of export contract review
• Standardize contract template;

3. Licensing (about 20% workload)

• Lead the team to draft, submit application to obtain ERC, IRC, IA, LURC;
• Support Project in Project development;
• Counsel the management on M&A deals;
• Consolidate Due Diligent Report on M&A transaction;

4. Others (about 10% workload)

• Translate legal documents and other documents
• Improve knowledge of alterations in legislation
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working in an inhouse legal Department or a law firm
• Experience in litigation is a big plus.
• Self-research, logical & comprehensive thinking

• Fluent in English, especially in law fields
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of business law and procedures
• Fast learner, Independence, passionate about the legal field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good time and task management skills.
