1) Job Summary

As a Tax Specialist within the FMCG industry, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maximizing tax efficiency for our organization. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage various tax-related matters, providing strategic insights to support business objectives.

2) Key Responsibilities

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (CIT, VAT, FCT, NRT, Personal Income Tax withholding for business individual, etc.…)

- Maintain comprehensive records of all tax-related documents, including returns, payments, tax adjustment/calculation, and tax related matter supporting documents.

- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring that the company comply with applicable tax obligations.

- Ensure accurate recording and closing process for Tax function for monthly closing and YE closing.

- Reconcile all Tax accounts properly in SAP system.

- Identify tax risks and exposures, implementing controls and mitigation strategies to minimize risks to the organization.

- Coordinate and liaise with tax authorities and external advisors as necessary.

- Assist in developing tax strategies and planning efforts to minimize tax liabilities and maximize compliance.

- Other works as assigned.

       Requirements

-      Bachelor degree or above in Finance, Tax, Accounting or equivalents

-      05+ years of experience in tax field from FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.

-      In-depth knowledge of local tax laws

-      Detailed oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

-      Strong in verbal and written communication skills

-      Proficiency in Excel, Power Query or data processing

-      Power BI, SAP knowledge is a plus

-      Strong in verbal and written communication skills

-      Understands the risk management and the elements of risks faced and applicable to the tax matter

-      Capacity to analyze data in real time understands data analytics as well as the tax rules can support the development of real time tax dashboards and visualization techniques, to offer game changing opportunities for tax professionals to add value in new ways
