JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Academic curriculum, especially in the English program at kindergarten level.
• Coordinate with Academic Manager to carry out professional planning, including planning the academic year, monthly and weekly schedules, review and approve lesson plans for teachers;
• Plan and organize monthly field trips; playgrounds and events for children.
• Establish and monitor the implementation of daily schedules for kids based on their age group;
• Conduct daily inspections of classrooms, learn and play areas; observe and keep track of the class hour quality, maintain a safe and professional environment for kids;
• Do assessment and evaluation to measure student progress and program effectiveness;
• Monitor and supervise the quality and progress of teachers. Conducting training and delivering professional development programs to teachers;
• Coordinate with the School Principal/Manager to handle parent inquiries, support teachers in communicating and resolving issues from parents;
• Provide advice to the Board of Directors and Manager on improving the quality of care and education;
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy, Early childhood education, English or a related field
• 2+ years experience in Preschool Academic
• Experience developing and implementing curriculum
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in Montessori or Japanese preschool teaching methods is a plus
• Passion for working with young children
