Job Summary
As a Delivery Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the flow of ideas and ensuring their effective implementation. Your role will include training, coaching, and mentoring team members on the right mindsets, methods, and practices. You will coordinate the main activities of the Value Stream, supporting teams and members in delivering value and ensuring overall performance.
Responsibilities
Define Phase: Developing Ideas
Analyze and choose the appropriate idea management methods.
Train and guide Value Stream members on these methods, frameworks, and practices.
Help business owners and product owners define ideas effectively.
Assist business and product owners in managing the Backlog.
Establish efficient ways of working with partners.
Collaborate with business and product owners to align plans with relevant partners.
Measure and ensure transparency during this phase, facilitating improvement discussions.
Build Phase: Implementing Ideas
Coordinate regular implementation activities.
Lead discussions on key topics related to idea implementation.
Ensure teams follow and correctly apply practices and frameworks for efficient and quick delivery.
Identify and manage issues that reduce team efficiency.
Coordinate the resolution of these issues.
Measure and ensure transparency during this phase, facilitating improvement discussions.
Operate Phase: Measuring Effectiveness
Ensure releases occur on schedule.
Conduct transparent measurement and evaluation for key stakeholders and teams.
Monitor the effectiveness of ideas during the first 1-2 months of operation.
Transition monitoring responsibilities to business and product owners.
Organize and gather feedback on improvements and issues, coordinating planning activities to address them.
