Job Description

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

· Act as a Business Partner and support Management Team in business decisions;

· Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial goals, targets, and budgets aligned with overall business objectives;

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements, in both VAS & IFRS standards;

  • Prepare and structure finance functions to be ready for future IPO & listing;
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with banks, lenders, investors and strategic partners.

2. Project-Financing:

  • Conduct Off-takers' credit assessments;
  • Structure finance terms of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with potential off takers;
  • Develop detailed financial models for renewables projects, including cash flow projections, NPV, IRR, and ROI analysis; and present final results to the Management Team on investment decisions;
  • Determine CAPEX plans and financing needs for debt/ equity financing for each project;
  • Establish processes for project budgets & controls and responsibility for all cost management within projects;
  • Develop strong relationships and continuous communication flows with all project stakeholders to ensure project-financing targets & timeline is met;
  • Responsible for the optimization of financial returns of renewables projects.

3. M&A and Captial Raising:

· Work closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to evaluate and advise on potential mergers & acquisitions, and other strategic opportunities;

  • Support the CIO in due-diligence processes, including financial modeling, financial analysis, deal structuring, fund raising including equity finance, debt finance;
  • Identify early deal breakers to best use time, human, and financial resources of the company.

4. Taxation & Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations;

· Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities as necessary.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

· Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability;

· Provide guidance and professional development opportunities, trainings to finance staffs;

· Attract and recruit the top talents in the industry for onboarding.

Job Requirement

·       At least 6+ Years of experience in financial leadership roles;

·       Broad finance background (investment, transactions, valuation, capital markets, controlling, financing) proven in senior positions;

·       Experience in a project-delivery oriented environment will be a strong asset;

·       Proven track records of successful involvement in and completion of capital markets financings and M&A transactions;

·       Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and ability to motivate staff;

·       Exceptional communication skills, resilience and highly driven, with business mindset and able to work with international stakeholders.
