Key Accountabilities:
In-house Legal:
Review all contracts, internal policies, and other documents of Equest Group to ensure compliance with all current laws.
Examine contracts, internal regulations, and other documents of the group and its subsidiaries to ensure these documents are lawful and protect the company's interests.
Review and develop internal management processes, regulations, and procedures for the company.
Provide legal advice to departments, divisions, subsidiaries, and affiliated schools within the group on daily business operations.
Draft, review, and provide advice on tuition package contracts of schools; issue confirmations regarding the transfer and change of beneficiaries in contracts.
Advise, draft, and handle legal documentation according to legal regulations, submit and collect results from competent state agencies.
Identify and assess potential legal risks, propose preventive measures, and resolve arising legal issues.
Keep up-to-date with relevant laws/regulations and cooperate to handle issues in compliance with legal requirements.
Handle legal issues between the Group and customers, partners, regulatory authorities, and employees (including dispute resolution, claims, benefits, court proceedings, etc.).
Assist the Investment Department in M&A activities.
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, internal regulations, and EQuest's charter, as well as internal policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
Assist in training on compliance rules, internal regulations, and current laws.
Represent the company before state agencies in legal-related matters.
Draft official letters to respond, communicate with state agencies, customers, and partners on legal issues.
Provide, manage, and store the company's legal documents.
litigation work:
Oversee all phases of litigation, including drafting legal documents and representing the company in court.
Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex litigation matters to align legal strategies with company objectives.
Provide strategic legal advice on litigation issues, addressing potential legal challenges and protecting the company’s position.
Coordinate with the Internal Control Department and QA Department to:
Assess legal compliance of units, guiding them to comply with laws and regulations/procedures during business operations;
Coordinate with the Internal Control or QA Department to provide proposals, advice, and support to mitigate legal risks when issues arise;
Monitor and update the mitigation of recommended risks for units;
Coordinate with the Internal Control or QA Department to prepare internal control reports and conduct inspections as requested by these departments.
Organize the implementation of compliance regulations as required by KKR Group, including drafting and submitting compliance policies and regulations for approval, guiding the application of these regulations, and amending or supplementing regulations as necessary or recommended.
Job Requirement
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Law, or other related majors.
Major in Law/Commercial Law with minimum 03 years of legal experience working on law services at a full-time position.
Candidates with strong litigation experience from a law firm or corporate environment are preferred.
Familiar with Trade Law, Commercial Law, Labor Law, Law on Enterprises, Education Law, and others relating to working operation of Company.
Ability to clearly - organize and inform through excellent English written and verbal communications
Excellent ability to analyze problems and come up with practical, workable solutions.
Proficent in English.
