Job Role:

The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role involves managing the finance and accounting team, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:
   • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
   • Oversee financial planning and analysis, including variance analysis.
   • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
   • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.
   • Monitor and control company expenditures and revenues.
   • Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
   • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
   • Develop and maintain financial models to assist in evaluating business performance and opportunities.
2. Accounting Operations:
   • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
   • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
   • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to prevent errors and fraud.
3. Team Leadership:
   • Manage, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
   • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same role, preferably in a logistics or forwarder environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
