Area of Reponsibility
1. Government Affairs and Policy
• Build and maintain sustainable partnerships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, healthcare officies, and policymakers.
• Monitor and influence healthcare policies, regulations, and legislation to facilitate market access.
• Represent the company in industry associations, public forums, and regulatory discussions.
• Engage with government committees relevant for market access decision-making.
• Support policy advocacy efforts to shape a favorable regulatory
2. Public Affairs
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including media agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the healthcare community.
• Develop communication strategies to clearly convey the company's position on important issues.
• Monitor and analyze feedback from the public and media to adjust public relations strategies accordingly.
• Ensure public affairs efforts are aligned with public policy initiatives in the pharmaceutical sector to support the company's strategic objectives.
3. Market Access Management
• Develop and execute short- and long-term market access strategies.
• Aware of competitors’ strategies and prepare appropriate market access responses.
• Engage regularly with MOH pricing and reimbursement authorities and public market formulary listing agencies.
• Ensure quality and timely submissions for market access approvals.
• Lead pricing negotiations and reimbursement discussions.
• Monitor and improve access policies and conditions, including pricing, reimbursement, formulary listing, and other relevant payer policies and guidelines.
• Collect and update information on policy points, tender information, and schedules.
• Understand HTA models (Budget Impact Analysis and Cost-Effectiveness Analysis) and collaborate with HTA agencies.
• Cooperate with PAP agencies to develop and implement Patient Assistance/Support Programs.
• Monitor the implementation and performance of PAP/PSP at hospitals.
• Ensure compliance with HTA and PAP/PSP regulatory requirements.
4. Key Account Management
• Respond to sales support needs and coordinate with the BU team to ensure tender success for hospital out-of-pocket (OOP).
• Supervise the preparation of key account documents and follow up on key account results.
• Work with and coach subordinates to work with the BU team to understand customers’ policies and specific requirements, align with them to achieve targets.
