Sourcing strategy:
- Assess categories/countries’ SWOT and establish the long-term sourcing’s strategy.
- Establish new product sourcing policies & terms (What to source, how to source, where to source).
- Establish a new vendor/factory on-boarding policy; Maintain and develop existing vendor/factory.
Develop vendor/factory network:
- Build the supplier’s raw database with full information (contact, profiles,…).
- Develop supplier evaluation & supplier ranking method.
- Build & maintain supplier relationships & long-term partnerships.
- Evaluate supplier’s performance to decide the product’s allocation frame.
Sourcing process:
- Understand the needs of internal team, then propose the right suppliers/factory.
- In collaboration with BD, Technical, QA/QC, and supported departments to break-down or/and calculate the cost and complete price’s negotiation & the contract.
- Follow the development phase with internal team until PO’s kick-off.
Execution phase (Merchandising phase):
- In collaboration with supply chain to follow-up the supplier’s performance to ensure delivery on-time & good quality.
- Support supply chain & sales team for any issue during the product life cycle before and after sales.
