- Offer consistent, high-quality HR guidance and solutions to customers regarding key people processes and policies, focusing on self-service and empowering people leaders.
- Enhance Āwhina and P&C systems and processes for an improved customer experience.
- Provide first level advice and guidance on various HR matters (this may include general performance management, rewards, benefits, processes, policies, and procedures).
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes, suggesting innovative solutions to boost efficiency and effectiveness by keeping up to date on labour laws, regulations, and best practices. Current tasks may involve:
- Handling and coordinating HR administrative tasks, promptly directing requests to the appropriate channels, and ensuring timely processing.
- Generating and upholding accurate employment documents and contracts, including coordinating with People Leaders.
- Making people changes in our internal systems, including terminations, band adjustments, title changes, and reporting line modifications. Supporting the timely processing of new employees and changes.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee data within our HR database.
- Manage the execution of payroll with appointed vendor and ensuring timely processing. You will be part of the team as it embarks on a journey of transformation into the digital era, making it a simpler and more modern place to work.
